A: For safety reasons we can not give advice on individual cases, working remotely we can never be sure as to what the customer actually needs. We have tried in the past but this has backfired! The only advice we can give is that you seek some assistance from your local domestic appliance engineer for added safety and to avoid any unnecessary expense.
- Q: Where can I get fitting instructions for spare parts?
A: Fitting instructions are not available. We would recommend that spare parts should only be fitted by trained technician or suitably qualified person.
- Q: Can I get wiring diagrams over the Internet?
A: Due to safety concerns we do not show wiring diagrams over the Internet but you can request them HERE
- Q: The part that I need is not listed.
A: Please use our contact us form and provide us with as much information as possible about the machine in question. Example - exact make and model number. Product code also for Zanussi, Tricity Bendix products. For Bosch / Neff / Siemens products there is an ‘E’ number and a ‘FD’ number. This will help us to answer your query much quicker.
- Q: Will this fit my model?
A: We try to give as much detail about our products as we can, but we do not have data to hand on all manufacturers so we can never be 100 percent sure as to what the customer actually needs. If you are unsure then please seek advice from your local domestic appliance engineer.
- Q: I do not have a credit/debit card, can I still buy from you?
A: Unfortunately, we now only take card payments via the website. Payments on our site are safe and secure, and we accept all major credit/debit cards via Sage Pay (Formerly Protx) so you can have complete confidence in making your payments. Using Sage Pay means that we NEVER store or even see your card details at any time. We also NEVER disclose your email address or personal details to any third party.
- Q: How long does the normal delivery process take, when will I get my ordered goods?
A: Normally they will be received in 3 to 5 working days.
- Q: What do I have to do to delete a sent order?
A: Send a cancellation notice using the contact us form including your address, phone number, product code etc.

Q: My Hotpoint / Creda / Electra tumble dryer is not heating up, which element will I need?
A: These heater elements are very reliable unless they get damaged. Most models have two thermostats above the element, the failure of these is the usual cause of no heat on these types of dryers. Check the continuity of these with the wires removed, this is very important as they will read through if you leave the wires on. You should get a reading through both of them, if not then you need to replace both thermostats. Just type your model number into the search bar on the web site and you should find the thermostat kit to suit your model.
